Introduction
Destiny Worldwide Entertainment, Inc (Destiny) is an innovative film production company whose mission is to create motion pictures with story-lines that deliver entertaining and morally inspiring films parents around the world can trust. Destiny produces “A” quality first-run theatrical films rated G and PG without the need of violence, blatant sexual content, unnecessary foul language or moral corruption. A great story can still be delivered the old fashioned way — show it — tell it — and entertain the audience.
Nationwide, forty-seven (47%) percent of the population views, rents or buys G and PG rated films and/or purchases merchandise from projects that are family oriented. Additionally, for the past 10 years, the top rentals and top selling DVD’s were G and PG rated films.
By creating a string of successful films such as QUIGLEY (please visit www.quigleythemovie.com) Destiny set the stage and developed a new direction for an independent film company with a focused goal aimed at filling the current void in live-action, original content, family films. Quigley continues to entertain audiences all over the world. The film has sold in excess of One Million Eight Hundred Thousand home DVD units thanks to the relationship with Wal-Mart, Blockbuster, Best Buy, Amazon, E-Bay and Christian Retailing. Press relationships with The Dove Foundation, Movie Guide, Total Living Network, SkyAngel Broadcasting and Christian Traders have expanded our availability to reach a very wide and diverse audience. Quigley has enjoyed limited showings on Showtime, HBO and Sky Angel which have expanded our audience and thus the reason we have QUIGLEY’S CHRISTMAS ADVENTURE in Pre-Production for a 2012 holiday release . Destiny quickly established itself as one of the market leaders in the independent family film industry and secured a loyal following within this every-expanding niche market. Destiny’s ability to create quality “entertainment with a message” coupled with the enduring quality of its productions provides a stable, recurring revenue stream.
The ultimate goal is to create a mini library of unbridled feature films that by industry standards have not been tainted or edited to accommodate the thinking behind Hollywood trend themes. The vast majority of story lines created by Destiny will give a wide audience a glimpse at what old Hollywood used to be.
Company founders and managing partners, William Byron Hillman and Russ Kavanaugh (See: The Partners) have over 50 years experience in motion picture and television production and have produced projects with gross revenues over $500 million dollars. With major studio and television network experience, both partners know how to manage large projects and bring them in on time and budget. Mr. Hillman, a 30-year independent filmmaker/business owner, teamed up with Mr. Kavanaugh 10+ years ago, and their budding enterprise continues to prove they are a team that can create and execute timely, entertaining projects.
Destiny will continue to organize a diverse and uniquely creative group whose goal is to offer entertainment that will live in home video libraries for many years to come. With our new associations, we intend to produce a minimum of two feature film per year, and thus create a library that families all over the world will be proud to own.
